Referral & Affiliate Terms

1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to outbound links on Pulse Listings that may earn us a commission (the "Affiliate Links") and to any referral activity between Pulse Listings, its users and third-party partners.

2. Affiliate disclosure

Some links on the Partners & Affiliates page and elsewhere on the site are tracked affiliate links. If you click one and make a qualifying purchase, Pulse Listings may receive a commission from the partner at no extra cost to you. This complies with the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and CAP Code guidance on affiliate marketing disclosure.

3. How tracking works

Affiliate Links append UTM parameters (such as utm_source=pulselistings,utm_medium=affiliate,utm_campaign andutm_content) and may also redirect through a partner network (e.g. Awin, Impact, Rakuten). The destination partner sets a cookie on your device to attribute the referral. Cookie duration and rules are set by the partner, not Pulse Listings.

Pulse Listings does not receive your payment details, name or email from the partner — only aggregate, anonymised performance data.

4. Editorial independence

We only feature partners we'd genuinely recommend. Commission rates do not influence the order in which partners appear. Sponsored placements (where money has been paid for visibility beyond standard commission) are clearly labelled.

5. Pricing & availability

Prices, stock, delivery times and offers are controlled entirely by the partner. Pulse Listings is not responsible for changes after you leave our site, nor for the quality of goods or services supplied by the partner.

6. Your statutory rights

Your contract is with the partner, not Pulse Listings. UK consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (including the 14-day right to cancel most online purchases) apply between you and the partner.

7. User-generated referrals

If you refer Pulse Listings to a DJ, band or venue, you may not:

• Spam, bulk-message or post misleading claims about Pulse Listings;
• Impersonate Pulse Listings or its staff;
• Bid on "Pulse Listings" or related brand terms in paid search;
• Use cashback, coupon or incentivised-traffic sites without prior written consent.

Breach of these rules voids any pending reward or commission and may result in removal from the platform.

8. Partner applications

Brands wishing to be listed must operate a recognised affiliate programme or agree a direct sponsorship. We reserve the right to accept, reject or remove any partner at our discretion, including where the partner's conduct, products or reputation no longer aligns with the platform.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pulse Listings is not liable for any loss arising from your purchase from, or interaction with, a third-party partner reached via an Affiliate Link. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will change accordingly. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance.
